Definitions


In the conditions the following words, the definitions are as follows: 
 “The Company” shall mean The Bajan Kitchen Ltd or any subsidiary or associated Company of The Bajan Kitchen Ltd .
 “The Customer” shall mean any person, Company or organisation, to which the Company agrees to sell their products presented/sold on/via The Company’s online store.

 

Order Payment and Acknowledgement 

Online order payment via Paypal will require accurate Customer email addresses to be able to verify The Customer’s PayPal account. PayPal might prevent a customer from using the guest checkout if they feel that the transaction poses a certain risk. All payments currently are via PayPal. The Customer is responsible for providing accurate contact details (email address) to receive the order acknowledgment from the Company.  

 

Shipment  / Delivery

The Company aim for all orders to be shipped within 48 hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. It is necessary to contact the Company when needing a priority despatch. Time for delivery is given as accurately as possible but is not guaranteed. The Company will endeavour to comply with reasonable requests by the Customer for postponement of delivery. The Company shall be under no obligation to do so and where delivery is postponed by agreement the Customer shall pay any cost there may be associated with delayed delivery. The Customer is responsible for contacting the Company for any re-arrangement.

 

Carrier

The Bajan Kitchen will use The Royal Mail to deliver their orders. Tracking number will be submitted with the delivery dispatch email. In case of a priority order - please contact The Bajan Kitchen for details.  

 

Payment & terms


All prices include VAT, but exclude shipping costs. Total cost of the  order including your shipping will be displayed prior to placing the final order. In case of a priority order - please contact The Bajan Kitchen for details.  

The Bajan Kitchen does not hold any credit card details of the customers. 

Cancellation and Return Policy  

 

The Customer has the right to cancel the order within 12 hours of placing the order, by notifying the company immediately by email (tamara@thebajankitchen.com) tor request a refund, unless the order has been requested to be dispatched is priority. In case of priority dispatch The Customer needs to contact the Company to discuss cancellation and/or refund.

 

The item or items  must be in its/their original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. The Customer must contact The Bajan Kitchen immediately to initiate the return process or if they wish to cancel the order. 

To return the item it must be returned within 14 days of the purchase date. Please email tamara@thebajankitchen.com to initiate the return process and instructions will be provided.


All items are subject to a 10% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. The Bajan Kitchen will not refund the original shipping and handling paid on the order.  Please note that items can not be returned if they have been opened.

 

Any refunds will be processed within 30 days and a confirmation email will be sent to the customer.

Privacy Policy

The Company can confirm that they do not store credit card details nor do they share financial details with any 3rd parties. The Company do not pass on any personal details, or contact details to any third parties.

Refusal of service / transaction

 

The Company reserves the right to withdraw any Products from the Web Site at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on the Web Site. The Company may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time in our sole discretion.

 

Notices and Services

All notices to be given by either party to the other shall be in writing and shall either be delivered personally or sent by first class post or airmail post or by email and shall be deemed duly served.

 

 

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
